November Quad of the Month

With the continued growth of ATV use in our state, it has come to mind that not
enough of us are involved in what we love to do most. If you are like most of
the
riders I know, you care deeply about your sport. Whether you trail ride,
track ride or go to the local svra, blm, or nfs land, it really doesn't matter,
the fact is you love to ride. That's why this site is here. For us. To support
our sport. With all the rules they impose on us it is getting harder and harder
to ride without interference from law enforcement or just finding a place to go.
That is why we need you. ATV sales are still outpacing MX sales and our sport
will grow. But we need help. We need to band together as a group to support
places that will let us ride and promote them to others. If you care about your
sport, and are interested in making a difference, there is no easier way than
just showing up to ride with a group that is full of people who feel just like
you. So join up with us in an effort to keep our sport safe, healthy and
growing. It's worth it.
Suzuki takes WPSA Manufacturer's Cup and Final... Brea, CA September 16, 2007 The final round of the WPSA 10 round series was held amongst the gentle rolling hills of Boswell, PA. Cool temperatures and a brisk breeze made for a refreshing if not chilly weekend at Field of Dreams Motocross Park. As Team Rockstar/MSR/Suzuki/Yoshimura/Pro Taper... more
One more thing. With the advent of KTM entering the quad market, the competition just got a little stiffer. KTM has always delivered a quality machine, and now that they are building an atv lets hope that it is as quality as their bikes. I know the price is. Check out the new KTM by going here
They are after sand mountain now
The arduous task of installing more than 30 miles of
trail markers at the Sand Mountain Recreation Area could begin as early as next
month, County Manager Brad Goetsch said Friday.
The Churchill County Commission voted Thursday to allow Goetsch to solicit bids
for the project which would install galvanized steel posts at 20-foot intervals
along the travel route and boundary of Sand Mountain. Read the story

Do not patronize fox gas station. It is behind this.
A General Rant
In putting all these news stories together, you have no idea how many are out there that I read before I decide which to use on this page. Usually by the end of my day of digging I am always depressed over the amount of stories about cutting funds, regulating areas, limiting use, red sticker, green sticker, more laws, more enforcement, more education, more ....AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! It is extremely rare that I find one, and I mean literally just one story that is positive in nature. Again this month, I find none. You all know the story of David and Goliath??? Well we definitely are about half the size of David. And we all know who Goliath is.
Public invited to review BLM's OHV grant applications
The BLM is inviting public comments on its draft grant applications being
proposed to the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor
Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR). The draft BLM applications encompass
approximately 90 projects, ranging from facility developments to restoration
work proposed throughout BLM’s 16 field offices in the state. Check it
out, but don't expect the links to work or them to actually post the
information. They always make it virtually impossible to get this stuff without
physically going to a specific office. Good Luck. The story is
here.
