Well it didnt drop, more like the head snapped off the stem, this happened at WOT too. it snapped off a rocker arm too.

Oh ya, and they were +1mm Kibblewhite Black Diamond Valves, $32 a piece, and the rest of the 4 were bent. haha, and i found chunks of metal in my headers

I just lost a valve last week, same thing, head snapped and bent another. But mine was minimal damage since it was at low speed. Few other guys I know have lost valves recently. All Kibble and whites too! :?

its no fun and definatley not cheap. starting to move away from the four-strokes, even though i will always love the 450's and the shear torque and power of a 700. i just recently bought a banshee which i have always wanted, 2-strokes=less moving parts and cheaper to rebuild, but a TOTALLY different beast. but that Raptor may come alive once more with its 3rd engine, but my dad is buying it off of me(he found a new stock motor) and he is finally realizing his Predator 500 is a slow turd, especially on the dunes lol

haha well im sure you could find a engine for a decent price!
Would be way cheaper than rebuilding thats for sure.
